7 Peaks 2018-19 Major Prize

We know you would love the opportunity to head to Europe and ride some of the world’s iconic peaks, that’s why we are once again partnering with Wide Open Road Tours to bring you a special major prize to the 2019 Tour de France. And entry is easy as! All you have to do is register and ride one of the 7 Peaks during this years season. Simple!

This year's prize are placements for two cyclists on the sold out Bordeaux to Barcelona and The Tour . It's a well designed two week itinerary designed around iconic Pyrenees climbs and Le Tour's passage through the heart of French cycling. What an incredible prize!

You will be awarded one entry for every 7 Peaks climb completed (including multiples of the same climb - sweet!) up to a maximum of 7 entries. If then you completes all 7 Peaks climbs, you'll receive a bonus 10 entries in the prize draw - a nice a bit of incentive! Check out the full terms and conditions of the competitions here.

We've also taken all the paperwork out of it for you. Register for the 7 Peaks App, and your entries will be automatically submitted. Should you have a paper passport, you will still be eligible to enter the old fashioned way - via email or post. Drum Roll Please

The winner of the Major Prize from the 7 Peaks 2017-18 season, a trip for two to the Tour de France with Wide Open Road Tours is...Terry Golding from South Australia.

Terry is an avid road and mountain-biker from Adelaide who trained for the 7 Peaks in the Adelaide Hills with his peloton from 99 Bikes in Prospect. Together with his two sons, Sam (14 - left) and Will (16 - right) and supported by wife Rebecca, they made the trip to the High Country over the New Years period climbing Mt Buller, Mount Buffalo (their favourite!), Hotham and Falls Creek.

Terry took his son Will, a budding professional cyclist with him, on this trip of a lifetime! Stay tuned as Terry will give you all a recap of his experience soon.
