Tathra Farmstays 

The trendy Tathra Studio is a private apartment (under the same roof-line as the Homestead). With a private entrance concealed under the three metre wide verandah, cathedral ceilings and chef’s kitchen, the Studio has a warm and homely feel to it. A highlight is the dedicated room-with-a-view set high in the gardens, just a short stroll away, fitted out with chairs, table, ice bucket, patio heater (and knee blankets!) to enjoy those magnificent country air sunsets.

Tathra Cottage is a free standing mud brick cottage located high on its own hill with landscaped gardens and sweeping views across several Flowerdale valleys. Located about 100 metres east of the Tathra Homestead, Tathra Cottage is a cosy, mud-brick cottage with cathedral ceilings which offer a rustic farm stay experience reminiscent of a bygone era. Tathra Cottage is also dog-friendly, with a secure area within the Cottage grounds, ensuring guests are able to leave their dog safely when visiting attractions in the local area. Dogs must be on lead at all times when wandering outside the Cottage grounds as the ducks, geese and chickens free-range their way around the property. Please note Tathra Cottage is a getaway for adults (not suitable for children older than six months).

Opened in July 2022, Tathra Valley View is an off-grid 'micro-home' located at the rear of the vast Tathra Farmstays property with sweeping westerly views across the Flowerdale Valley. Set amongst the paddocks with the horses, alpacas, sheep and goats in the surrounds, Tathra Valley View is modern and cosy, and with the nearest neighbour 500m away, offers a complete escape. Suitable for two adults only, and pet friendly (most suitable for dogs classified as toy-medium). Please note prior approval from the owner is required (a separate pet fee is payable at the time of booking).
