Popular Family Rides

Mansfield Loop (1.5km return) – Explore Mansfield’s sights and sounds by bike on this relaxed town ride. Leaving from the Mansfield Visitor Information Centre, cycle past the Mansfield Mullum Wetlands, native birds, plants and scar tree art.

Yea – Cheviot Tunnel (9km one way) – Yea is a perfect location to start your family cycling adventures from. Fuel up at Marmalades of Yea Cafe and Produce Store and play at the historic Yea Station precinct’s playground and skatepark before cycling to and through Cheviot Tunnel, Victoria’s longest rail trail tunnel.

Cathkin – Alexandra (13km one way) – Ride from historic Cathkin Station platform to the tree-lined streets of Alexandra. Enjoy stunning views  of Cathedral Range and reward your efforts with coffee and cake at Grant St Grocer or pizzas at On Point Brewery.

Tallarook – Trawool (11km one way) – Pedal from Tallarook to Trawool past rolling green hills, scar trees, outdoor artwork pieces and the beautiful Goulburn River. Refresh with drinks and snacks in the Herb Garden at Trawool Estate and enjoy the National Trust classified scenic beauty.

Mansfield – Bonnie Doon (22km one way) – Roll to iconic Bonnie Doon from bustling Mansfield. Experience Mullum Wetlands, idyllic farmland landscapes, Wild Mint Acres Nursery and the giant 39m mobile phone tower artwork ‘Responding’ before soaring over Lake Eildon on the 385m Bonnie Doon Bridge.
